Mention sharing in Instagram stories + new functionality in Tack
Instagram is making stories more “shareable” by allowing you to add stories where you were mentioned to your own Instagram story. This aligns with my earlier recommendation where I suggested brands and businesses need to shift from a “share with #…” to a “tag us @… and share with #…” approach.
It is so important to train your audience to mention your Instagram handle. Without those mentions, your business will be missing out on key opportunities to engage with your brand advocates. Mentions in the feed can be pulled into Tack for engagement and permission requests, so you can repurpose and feature that content across your own channels, your marketing materials and other optimal places to showcase your brand.
Moreover, mentions in their stories can now be added to your story. Have you already used using this functionality? Mention @foundontack in your Story and tell us about it!
If you’d like to see how Tack manages your mentions and helps you get permission to use the content, check out these short videos. This week we’ve added options to tag items in your inbox as well as leave notes when you’re collaborating with a team.
